Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sakuma Yanagamichi (ranked 2394 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Charles (ranked 2014 p4p, 214 weight class). Charles has chosen Renegades Of Funk - Rage Against The Machine as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mike Charles was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sakuma Yanagamichi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mike Charles! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Ivan Kurochkin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Charles connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Yanagamichi shoots and misses and Charles counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Yanagamichi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Yanagamichi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Yanagamichi tries for a takedown but Charles circles away easily and Charles counters with a lovely shot to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sakuma Yanagamichi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Yanagamichi with a poor takedown letting Charles counter with a right hand. Yanagamichi misses with a takedown attempt enabling Charles to counter with a crisp jab. Yanagamichi is breathing heavily. Charles stuns Yanagamichi with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Yanagamichi takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Yanagamichi on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Charles connects with a good right hand that stumbles Yanagamichi. Yanagamichi circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Charles throws a series of strikes that have Yanagamichi backpedaling.
Yanagamichi drops his hands momentarily and Charles takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Yanagamichi is rocked! Yanagamichi shoots and misses and Charles counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Yanagamichi thinking. Oh Yanagamichi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Charles lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Charles lands a jab to Yanagamichi's midsection. Charles connects with a good right hand that stumbles Yanagamichi. Yanagamichi circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Yanagamichi takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Yanagamichi tries for a takedown but Charles circles away easily and Charles counters with a straight right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Charles cracks Yanagamichi's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Yanagamichi slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Charles can do further damage! This one is done, son!
