Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oni misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Berzerker attempts a counter takedown but Oni avoids it well and moves away.
Berzerker tries to clinch up

and Oni counters with a shoot takedown. Berzerker fights it but they end up in guard.

Berzerker is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Oni breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Berzerker really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Oni shoots in and gets a takedown into Berzerker's guard.

Berzerker is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Berzerker jumps guard but Oni stands there with Berzerker around his waist. Berzerker gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Berzerker keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Oni's efforts to push away.

Oni has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Berzerker clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Oni biding his time, looking for the opening.

Oni is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Berzerker defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Oni controls the action.
Berzerker trying to control the hands but Oni won't let him.
Oni lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Berzerker.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Oni has the hooks in. Berzerker is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Oni looking to break Berzerker's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Berzerker remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Oni will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Oni has good solid back control here.
It looks like Oni might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Oni just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Oni working for a choke but Berzerker is defending well.
A lull in the action here.
Berzerker tries to roll but Oni sticks to his back.
Oni controlling the position well here. Berzerker rolled but Oni kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Exeudo Oni dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Oni looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Berzerker tries to score a power double leg takedown but Oni sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Berzerker somewhat.

Oni clinches up against the cage.
Oni is trying to push Berzerker away but Berzerker has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Berzerker tries to score a body lock takedown but Oni shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Oni breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Berzerker tries for a takedown but Oni sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Berzerker pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Oni forces Berzerker back against the cage and clinches.
Oni fails to pull the fight into his guard.

A battle for position here, against the cage.
We've been informed that Oni has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Berzerker is looking to control Oni's arms but Oni gets an underhook and turns him. Now Berzerker has his back to the cage.

Oni has picked Berzerker up - he's going for a ride! Oni dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Berzerker pushes Oni off and gets back to his feet.
Berzerker takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Oni moves into the clinch successfully.

Oni manages to break the clinch.
Bastian Berzerker is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Berzerker misses with a takedown attempt - Oni sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Oni tries to counter by closing the distance.
Oni has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Berzerker misses with a double jab

and Oni counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Oni is nestled in close to Berzerker, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Oni really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Berzerker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Oni slows the pace down in half guard.
Berzerker is trying to get back to full guard.
Oni thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Berzerker's head.

Berzerker kicks Oni off and gets back to his feet.
Berzerker lands with an uppercut that bounces Oni off the cage and back into range.

Oni shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Berzerker keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Oni working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Oni is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Oni wants to free his trapped foot but Berzerker is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Berzerker kicks Oni off and gets back to his feet.

Oni throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Oni closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Oni has picked Berzerker up - he's going for a ride! Oni dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Oni is taking a breather. Berzerker says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Exeudo Oni has got the better of the ground game so far.
Berzerker regains full guard. Nicely done.

Oni content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Berzerker has locked up a guillotine! Berzerker's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Oni is holding on here and Berzerker must be using up a lot of energy. Oni has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Berzerker gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
