Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rusty Gulper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eshkar Gabai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gabai has chosen Ya by Mosh Ben-Ari as his entrance music. The key to victory for Rusty Gulper has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rusty Gulper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Eshkar Gabai! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Valeri Chadov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gabai throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gabai shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Gabai was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Gulper wants to control but Gabai is having none of it. Gabai is in the full mount, landing strikes. Gulper is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Gulper flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Gabai working Gulper over with strikes here. Gabai landing punches. Gulper swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Gabai cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Gabai in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Gabai blocks Gulper's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Gulper taking shots to the head. Gabai landing strikes, looking to finish! Gabai can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gulper is looking to escape. Gulper swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gabai landing strikes, looking to finish! Gulper holds of for dear life. The referee warns Gulper that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Gulper gets back to half guard. Gabai takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gulper on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Gabai wants to stand up but Gulper has a hold of him and won't allow it. Gabai is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Gabai thows a huge punch but Gulper dodges it nicely.
Gulper is not content to let Gabai control the position. Gulper is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Gabai's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gabai's back! Gabai tries to escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gulper cracks Gabai with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Gabai from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Gabai is trapped and Gulper is scoring with shots to the head and body. Gulper is not going to allow Gabai to sit and survive in this position. Gabai is trying to break free.
Gulper will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Gabai breaks Gulper's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Gabai lands a couple of decent looking shots. Gulper keeping moving, preventing Gabai from controlling successfully. Gabai tries to free his leg and advance position but Gulper is retaining full guard. Gabai looks gassed! Gabai throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gulper works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Gabai has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Gulper throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Gulper throws a head kick but Gabai moves out of range.
Gulper moves into range and connects with a jab. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gabai rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gulper moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Gulper uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gabai. Gulper throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Gabai's head.
It looks like Eshkar Gabai has been cut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gabai clobbers Gulper with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Gabai misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Gabai swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Crunch! Gulper slams his shin into Gabai's torso. Gulper lands a head kick. Gabai smiles back at him and beckons him forward. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gulper drives through and clinches with Gabai against the cage.
Gulper scores with a knee to the head.
Gulper lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Gulper pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Gulper scores with a crisp jab that stopped Gabai in his tracks.
Gabai is rocked! Gulper lands a nice looking body shot.
Gabai is still on wobbly legs! Can Gulper finish him? Gulper has Gabai up against the cage in a clinch.
Gulper lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
A bit of stalling here from Gulper.
Gabai seems to have recovered his senses. Gulper connects with a knee right up the middle there - that's rocked Gabai badly! Gabai tumbles to the floor and Gulper stands over him, dominant and satisfied with his glorious KO victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rusty Gulper!
