Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Segey Taranin (ranked 3460 p4p, 322 weight class) and Benjamin Kueller (ranked 1738 p4p, 196 weight class). Taranin has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Benjamin Kueller has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Segey Taranin's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Benjamin Kueller!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Jorge Garcia and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kueller shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Kueller tries to stand but Taranin is controlling from the bottom.
Kueller pushes down on Taranin's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Kueller is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Taranin is staying active underneath Kueller, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kueller is keen to just control but Taranin is a slippery customer.
Kueller winds up and cracks Taranin with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Kueller is trying to control. Taranin wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Kueller is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Kueller wants to stand up but Taranin has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Kueller takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Taranin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kueller sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Taranin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kueller.
Taranin feinted with a counter takedown.
Kueller throws a looping overhand right but Taranin ducks down to avoid it.
We've been informed that Kueller has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kueller throws a leg kick which misses Taranin's front leg but catches the back leg as Taranin tries to avoid it.
Kueller takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Kueller walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Taranin checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Kueller circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Taranin drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Kueller follows Taranin to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
