Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Haro Magalo (ranked 2639 p4p, 344 weight class) and Winston Markus (ranked 3386 p4p, 416 weight class). Magalo comes to the cage accompanied by Franco - All Nighter. Winston Markus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Markus changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
We've been told by Magalo's head coaches at JAG Battle Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Magalo wants to clinch up but Markus keeps it at a distance.
Magalo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Markus.
Magalo throws a right hand that misses
and Markus holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Markus creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Magalo's defenses.
It looks like Haro Magalo has been cut.
Markus blocks an uppercut.
Magalo throws a head punch that misses.
Magalo swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Magalo misses with some punches.
Markus lands an uppercut.
Markus lands a nice elbow.
Markus drops his opponent with a massive elbow! Magalo is holding on for dear life.
Magalo is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Markus has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Oh Magalo is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Markus thowing shots but they're missing.
Markus loads up with a big shot that hurts Magalo! He's pulled Markus in close but Markus has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Magalo survive? More strikes from Markus and Magalo is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Winston Markus!
In his post fight interview, Winston Markus started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
