The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Groinbuster keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Smart.
Smart fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Groinbuster sprawls well initially but Smart persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Groinbuster wants to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smart seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Groinbuster is looking to control Smart's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Groinbuster avoid being mounted?

Well Smart has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
