Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zack Ramone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramone comes to the cage accompanied by Panderator - Cruise Control. Luis Jones will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramone changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jones looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Jones gets back to half guard.
Jones is looking to improve his position.
Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ramone. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ramone trying to control the pace.
Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ramone passes to side control.
Ramone tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ramone has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ramone is working Jones over with some ground and pound from side control.
Ramone is trying to get an arm triangle but Jones is defending well.
Ramone thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Jones is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Ramone has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Ramone is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jones defends it well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ramone thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jones's head.
Ramone is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Ramone is breathing heavily.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jones wants to get back to full guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Jones manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Jones looking to control.
Ramone postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jones is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ramone, into his guard.
Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Jones postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Ramone keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully.

Jones might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Ramone kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Left hook, right uppercut from Jones.
Jones misses with a series of wild punches.
Jones tries for a takedown but Ramone circles away easily
and Ramone counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Ramone has hold of one of Jones's legs. Jones is fighting the takedown attempt but Ramone gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Ramone drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jones looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jones looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jones!
Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ramone keeps working.
Ramone tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jones wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zack Ramone dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Jones fails with the takedown
and Ramone counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jones's guard now.
Ramone passes into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ramone connects with a nice short shot to Jones's temple.
Ramone is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Ramone is looking to stall here but Jones recovers full guard.
Jones controls Ramone momentarily but Ramone frees himself.
Jones utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Ramone is working Jones over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Ramone trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Jones trying to keep a closed guard but Ramone is proving a slippery customer.

Ramone is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Zack Ramone overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Ramone keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully.
Ramone throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Jones escapes and throws Ramone's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Jones is looking to take a break and control but Ramone is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Ramone struggling a bit here.
Ramone tries to buck Jones off but Jones is having none of it.

Jones is squirming around, avoiding Ramone's attempts to control the action.
Ramone moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Jones has worked his arm free - good work by Jones!

Jones lands a nice looking kick to the body. Ramone takes a step back to recover.

Jones is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Jones is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Ramone couldn't care less - he's delighted!
