Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ross Kemp (ranked 408 p4p, 58 weight class) and Samson Fortier (ranked 749 p4p, 102 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Ross Kemp! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Samson Fortier! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fortier is looking to chop away at Kemp's legs. Fortier misses with a body shot
and Kemp makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Fortier throws a hook but Kemp blocks it. Fortier throws the left hand but Kemp avoids the punch easily. Kemp throws out a loose jab but Fortier uses good head movement to avoid it. Kemp feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Fortier's calf. Kemp looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Fortier looks to land a left hand but Kemp moved out of range nicely. A low kick from Fortier is predictable there and Kemp counters with a lovely shot to the body. Kemp seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Fortier tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Kemp slips under a jab from Fortier. Kemp lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Fortier feints and then cracks Kemp's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kemp down. This has been an exciting period of action! Kemp changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Fortier throws a shot to the body.
Kemp takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Fortier throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kemp sees it coming and avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kemp jabs at Fortier's body. Fortier throws the left hand but Kemp avoids the punch easily. Kemp scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Fortier throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kemp sees it coming and avoids it easily. Kemp moves away from the strike by Fortier. Kemp swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Fortier. Kemp throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kemp takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Fortier throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kemp makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Fortier gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kemp. Fortier uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Kemp lands with a shot to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kemp misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fortier thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kemp if he has to take too many more of those.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ross Kemp! After the fight, Ross Kemp was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
