Peiper lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Valentijn Gibbs has been cut.

Gibbs throws a sloppy head kick and Peiper moves out of range easily.
Gibbs blocks a low kick nicely.
Gibbs is looking to clinch.
Gibbs shoots in for a double leg but Peiper sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Gibbs misses with a head kick.
Peiper throws a leg kick but Gibbs sees it coming and moves out of range.
Gibbs tries for a takedown but Peiper sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Gibbs shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Peiper pinned against the cage. Peiper gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Valentijn Gibbs. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gibbs ducks straight into an uppercut from Peiper and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Gibbs maanges to regain guard straight away.

Peiper fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Gibbs to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Gibbs looks to clinch but Peiper throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Gibbs taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
