Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 37 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kimbo Slice!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Kerr!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice moves into range and connects with a jab.
Kerr steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Slice.
Kerr fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Slice lands with a straight right. Kerr didn't see that one coming.

Kerr darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Slice has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Kerr is on him like a limpet, forcing Slice back against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Slice misses with a punch on the inside.
Kerr misses with a hook from the clinch.
A short uppercut from Kerr.
Kerr blocks a body shot from Slice.
Kerr lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Slice works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Kerr blocks an uppercut.
Slice wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Slice scores with a nice hook to the head.
Slice lands a left hand.

Kerr doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Kerr blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Slice tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kerr's elbow.
Kerr swings wildly with an uppercut but Slice uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kerr fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Slice lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Kerr pushes Slice back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Slice fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Kerr has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Slice clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Slice manages to get to his feet, escaping the difficult position.
Kimbo Slice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Slice comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Slice lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Kerr has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Slice throws a quick inside leg kick.

Slice connects with a solid leg kick.
Kerr on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Slice has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Slice connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

and Slice takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Slice fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kerr is out of range.

Slice swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Kerr counters with a two punch combo.
Slice throws a hook to the side of Kerr's head but Kerr sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Slice ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Slice throws a good cross that connects.
Slice chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Slice throws out a loose jab but Kerr uses good head movement to avoid it.
Slice throws a predictable looking body shot

and Kerr counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kerr.
Kerr digs a right hand into Slice's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Slice's gas tank.
Kerr lands a shoulder strike.

Slice breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Slice is looking to slow Kerr down with leg kicks.
Kerr misses with a lunging right hand
and Slice counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kerr's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Slice connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kerr scrambles back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Slice digs a good body shot into Kerr's ribs.

Slice swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Slice is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

It looks like Kimbo Slice has been cut.
Kerr looks to land a combination but Slice avoids it well.
Slice is looking to counter punch.

Slice lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Slice is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Slice looks to land a left hand but Kerr moved out of range nicely.
Slice fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kerr looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Slice misses the body punch
and Kerr cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nice uppercut lands for Kerr. That snapped Slice's head back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kerr closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Kerr misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Kerr lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Kerr throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Slices head.
Still in the clinch, Kerr scores with a nice short uppercut.
Mark Kerr seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kimbo Slice is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Slice connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kerr's hands.
Slice swats away the attempt to clinch by Kerr.

Kerr uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Slice.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Kerr counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

You can see that Kerr has visibly slowed down as a result of the leg kicks

Slice ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kerr moves away.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kerr! But no joy.

Kerr might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Kerr takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Slice drops Kerr onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Kerr is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!


Kerr is rocked!

Slice manages to break the clinch.
Kerr is still on wobbly legs! Can Slice finish him?
Slice turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Slice throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Slice lands a slapping body shot.
Slice connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Kerr out cold! This one is over in a flash!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kimbo Slice!
Kimbo Slice retains his heavyweight title!
A less than humble Kimbo Slice misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
