Shayle misses with a few strikes there.

Shayle swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

manson throws a left and a right that both miss
and Shayle counters with a three punch combo that has manson backing up. manson nods at Shayle to acknowledge the strikes.

manson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Shayle tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Shayle wants to break the clinch but can't.

Shayle wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but manson has him pressed against the cage.
Shayle prevents manson from breaking the clinch.
Shayle escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Shayle shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has manson pinned against the cage. manson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Shayle goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
manson tries to clinch but Shayle is having none of it.
Shayle fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. manson sprawls well initially but Shayle persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Shayle missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Shayle wants to stand but manson has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Shayle is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and manson defends it well.

Shayle gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Shayle pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

manson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Shayle tries to bum rush manson with a series of wild strikes but manson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Shayle will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
manson tries to clinch there but Shayle circles away.

Shayle's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Shayle duly obliges.
napolian manson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Shayle throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

manson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
manson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Shayle.
Shayle will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Shayle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Shayle fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. manson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A nice combination there by Shayle.
manson is rocked!
Shayle steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! manson is out on his feet! Shayle sets himself and nearly takes manson's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
