Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ion shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ion keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Takenao's head.
Ion is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Takenao has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at London MMA Club. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Ion is working Takenao over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Ion avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Ion has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Takenao is rocked!
Takenao working for a triangle but Ion defends it easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Takenao has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ion can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Ion working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Ion with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Takenao is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ion postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Takenao covers up, he's hurt! Ion keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Ion and the ref steps in to end the fight! Ion can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Min Ion!
