Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miles Baker (ranked 6645 p4p, 545 weight class) and Happy Slashensmash (ranked 24543 p4p, 578 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Happy Slashensmash enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Baker duly obliges.
Slashensmash with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Baker to score with a decent uppercut.
Baker tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Slashensmash manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Baker shoots in but Slashensmash avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Slashensmash's coach down at The Samurai - Elite Fight Club was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Slashensmash's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Baker drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Slashensmash gets the underhooks and prevents it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Slashensmash has Baker pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Slashensmash pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Baker tumbling to the mat - Slashensmash dives into Baker's guard.
Baker is wriggling around but Slashensmash manages to pass to half guard.

Baker tries to roll over but Slashensmash keeps him under control.
Baker wants to get back to his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Slashensmash has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

That was a close round but I would say that Miles Baker will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Slashensmash counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Slashensmash.
Baker wants to sweep here but Slashensmash controlling him for the moment.

Slashensmash is just content to waste time from the top position. Baker takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Happy Slashensmash showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Baker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Baker fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Slashensmash checks it well.

Baker has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Slashensmash is on him like a limpet, forcing Baker back against the cage.
Slashensmash has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Baker after a bit of a struggle.

Miles Baker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Happy Slashensmash.
