Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nathaniel Sosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Goncalo Rita!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sosa has taken the fight to the clinch.

Rita pulls Sosa into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rita looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sosa is fending him off so far but Rita persists. Nope, Sosa circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sosa might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Sosa's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Rita ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sosa moves away.
