Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Tommy Lee (ranked 19033 p4p, 562 weight class) and Asa Sharp (ranked 2389 p4p, 294 weight class). Lee comes to the ring accompanied by Kickstart My Heart. Tommy Lee has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee throws a series of punches but Sharp avoids them all with ease.
Lee swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sharp fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Sharp takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Lee clobbers Sharp with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Sharp moves out of range as Lee throws a body kick.
Lee moves away from the strike by Sharp.
A jab from Lee misses.
Sharp fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Lee checks it well.
Sharp ducks under a wild hook from Lee.
Sharp uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lee.
Lee misses with a leg kick
and Sharp counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Sharp throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lee sees it coming and avoids it easily.
It looked like Lee wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Lee connects with a body shot that sends Sharp's belly button to the back.
A head kick misses from Lee.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

A looping hook to the body misses from Lee. Sharp does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sharp has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

It seemed like Sharp was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Sharp avoids the body shot from Lee.
Sharp connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Lee throws a lazy uppercut
and Sharp counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Tommy Lee has been cut.
Sharp cracks Lee with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Lee get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Lee looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!
Lee connects with a right hand. Sharp shakes it off.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Lee.
Lee is looking to land body kicks.
Sharp's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lee connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sharp scrambles back to his feet.
Lee on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Sharp scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Lee beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.
Sharp avoids the head kick by Lee.
Lee has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Lee cracks Sharp with a right hand to the side of the head.
Sharp lands with an uppercut that bounces Lee off the ropes and back into range.

Sharp feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lees jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Sharp catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Lee stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Lee walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!
Oh Lee is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Lee counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Lee seems to have got his legs back now.
Lee throws a body punch but Sharp moves out of range.
Sharp misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lee connects with a right hand. Sharp shakes it off.
A jab from Sharp does it's job there.
Sharp tries a head kick but it misses.
Lee ducks under a wild hook from Sharp.
Lee swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Sharp takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Sharp feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Lee's calf.
No joy there for Sharp, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lee fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sharp, pushing him back against the ropes.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lee tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Sharp creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Lee pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes.
Sharp escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lee swings for the body but Sharp moves out of range.
Sharp looks to throw the jab but Lee is out of range.
Lee avoids the head kick by Sharp.
An attempted straight right counter from Lee misses the target.
Lee misses with an attempted mid kick.
A head kick from Sharp lands but Lee takes it in his stride.
Tommy Lee's cut is getting worse.
A bone on bone clash there as Lee blocks the leg kick.
Lee takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Sharp scores with a jab.

Sharp throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Lee takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Lee misses the shot to the body.
Sharp throws out a head kick that Lee doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Lee crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Lee's eyes and has decided to let it go on!

The fighters circle momentarily. Sharp darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Lee throws a body shot but no joy.
Lee wants to land a leg kick but Sharp is out of range.
Sharp ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Lee blocks a head kick by Sharp.
Lee has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Sharp.
Lee slips a straight right by Sharp.
Sharp throws a push kick but Lee slaps the foot to one side.
Lee appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Lee throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Sharp to counter with a crisp jab.
Sharp goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A big left from Sharp misses.
Sharp fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lee.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sharp throws the kick towards the body but Lee avoids it.
Lee is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sharp.
Sharp lets loose with a powerful body kick. Lee will feel that in the morning.
Sharp throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Asa Sharp dominated that round.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Sharp avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Lee lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Sharp has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Good leg kick by Sharp there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Lee is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Lee and Sharp are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Lee throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Sharp into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Lee knows it - he's on the ropes flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
