Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nakki Fakiiri (ranked 1322 p4p, 160 weight class) and Conor Daley (ranked 629 p4p, 89 weight class). Fakiiri's entrance music is Limp Bizkit- BREAK STUFF. A fine choice. Daley has chosen Dropkick Murphy's - Shipping Up To Boston as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Fakiiri misses.
Daley feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Fakiiris jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Daley paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Daley scores with a body shot.
Fakiiri misses with a hook. Daley ducked under it nicely.
Fakiiri takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Daley misses with a wild combination.
The crowd cheers as Daley lands an impressive looking overhand right. Fakiiri doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Nakki Fakiiri has been cut.
Daley feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Fakiiri sprawling to the canvas! Fakiiri rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Daley finish him?!
Fakiiri is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Daley lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Nakki Fakiiri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Daley cracks Fakiiri with a hook to the temple - Fakiiri is on wobbly legs here! Daley swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Fakiiri falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Daley wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Conor Daley!
A relieved looking Conor Daley thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
In defeat, Nakki Fakiiri stepped up to the mic, saying 'My hats off to my opponent, he's a great fight great skill and tonight he was the better man. I'll be back knocking on the door of title fight.'.
