The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bernoulli rushes Moraes and presses him up against the cage.
Bernoulli wants the takedown. Moraes is fighting it off but Bernoulli persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Moraes's guard against the cage.
Bernoulli lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
It looks like Joao Moraes has been cut.
Bernoulli trying to control the position from guard on top but Moraes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bernoulli stands up over Moraes, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Bernoulli postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bernoulli keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Moraes's head.

Moraes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bernoulli. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bernoulli lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Moraes! More strikes land and this one is all over! Bernoulli jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
