Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Leon Hooker (ranked 3636 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Harris (ranked 3704 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hooker throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Harris will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Hooker takes one to the chin there.
Harris lands an overhand right.
Hooker connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Harris's hands.
Harris falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hooker cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Harris is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Hooker.

and Hooker counters with a straight right hand.
Hooker definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Max Harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Harris fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hooker manages to avoid it.
As Harris tries to get set, Hooker tries to push him back and clinch up but Harris manages to avoid the attempt.

Harris looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

and Hooker counters with a series of strikes that sends Harris to the canvas! Hooker follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!

Harris had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hooker defends it easily.

Hooker might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Hooker wants to control from the top but Harris keeps moving.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hooker is fighting to break Harris's control of his arms but Harris is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Harris is looking for a triangle but Hooker pushes his legs off easily.
Harris looking for a sweep. Not yet Harris, not yet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Harris misses with a body shot
and Hooker counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Harris misses with a looping right.
Harris cracks Hooker with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Hooker lands a nice hook to Harris's body. Harris takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Hooker tries to close the distance and clinch up but Harris swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hooker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Harris! But no joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Leon Hooker will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Harris moves forwards but Hooker connects with a nice, crisp jab.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Harris is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Hooker manages to get to full guard.
Harris stands up over Hooker, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Max Harris showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Hooker's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Harris clobbers Hooker with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Hooker stalks Harris and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Harris's face. Harris staggers backwards, shaken.

Harris ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hooker moves away.
It looked like Hooker wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Hooker lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Max Harris comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Harris has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
