Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bald Martin (ranked 5366 p4p, 513 weight class) and Victor Klimov (ranked 5806 p4p, 520 weight class). Martin comes into the arena with I’m Bald And I Know It blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin tries to move into range but Klimov moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Klimov scores with a crisp jab that stopped Martin in his tracks.
Klimov thows a left - swing and a miss!
Nice defenses there by Martin.
Martin drops down looking for a counter takedown but Klimov sprawls and moves away.
Klimov connects with the punch.
Klimov missing with a left hand there. Martin was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Martin defending well as Klimov loads up on a big left hand.
Klimov scores with a jab. Martin acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Martin shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Klimov defends it nicely.

Klimov smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Klimov punishes Martin's body with a nice straight punch.
Klimov misses with a straight left.
Klimov fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Martin misses with a takedown attempt - Klimov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Klimov might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Klimov connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Klimov misses with a straight left.

Martin fails with a takedown attempt.
Klimov lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bald Martin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Martin shoots in for a double leg but Klimov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Klimov fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Martin appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Martin drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Martin passes Klimov's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Martin is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Well, if Martin is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Klimov can do anything to dispel that myth.

Klimov avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Martin.

Klimov takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Martin is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Klimov knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Martin is working to tighten his grip on Klimov's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Klimov has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Martin is really squeezing tight and eventually Klimov passes out! Martin breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
