Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Burger (ranked 4775 p4p, 380 weight class) and Jose Angel Diaz (ranked 5768 p4p, 405 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bobby Burger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jose Angel Diaz! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Peter Branson and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz looks to land a combination but Burger avoids it well. Burger moves in looking to clinch but Diaz pushes him off. Diaz misses with a series of wild punches.
Diaz throws a right and a left that Burger avoids nicely. Diaz throws a left and a right that both miss
and Burger counters with a nice double leg into side control. Diaz won't be happy with that. Burger scores with punches from side control. Burger lands a few punches from side control. Burger tries to advance to mount but Diaz denies him. Diaz wants to get back to his feet but Burger drags him back down. Burger tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Burger moves into full mount! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Diaz is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz is squirming around, avoiding Burger's attempts to control the action. Burger is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Diaz is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Diaz is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Burger working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Diaz is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Burger thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Burger trying to control but Diaz is having none of it. Diaz's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Burger unloading with bombs!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Burger controlling the pace for now. Diaz is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Burger tries to control but Diaz wriggling away. Burger is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Diaz has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Burger wants to control the pace but Diaz is squirming around nicely. Diaz squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Burger takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Diaz is trying to stand. Burger trying to control but Diaz is having none of it. Burger landing strikes from the mount and Diaz is in trouble! Burger thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Diaz is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Burger trying to control but Diaz is having none of it. Diaz wants to try and get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bobby Burger dominated that round. That's time! Burger's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A jab-cross combination lands for Diaz and sends Burger crashing to the mat! Diaz follows him down to the mat - Burger regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like Bobby Burger has been cut. Diaz wants to stand up but Burger is controlling the position.
Oh Burger is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Burger pushes Diaz off and gets back to his feet. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Diaz fails to land with a series of punches.

Bobby Burger is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Diaz throws a right hand that Burger ducks under and follows up with a left that Burger also avoids with ease. Burger tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Diaz manages to circle out of the way. Diaz drops Burger with a huge uppercut! Burger drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Diaz is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
