The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Happiest swings for the body but Carter moves out of range.
Happiest throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Happiest lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Happiest throws a looping overhand right but Carter ducks down to avoid it.
Happiest getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Carter connects with a right hand. Happiest shakes it off.
Carter throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Carter throws out a counter right but Happiest avoids it with no problem.
No joy there for Happiest, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Despite the aggression on Carter's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Carter thuds his shin into the meat of Happiest's side.
Happiest slips under a jab.
Happiest throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Happiest lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Carter avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Happiest scores with a jab. Carter acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Carter swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Happiest.
Happiest takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Carter ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Carter keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
It seemed like Carter was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Happiest misses with a straight left.
Happiest takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Happiest throws a hook but Carter blocks it.
Happiest throws a looping overhand right but Carter ducks down to avoid it.
Happiest has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Carter finds it's way round the side to connect with Happiest's head.
Happier Happiest seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carter lands a big uppercut and Happiest crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Happiest looks OK. Carter waves Happiest back to his feet!
Happiest is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Carter has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Happiest throws a combination that misses
and Carter counters with a big right hand! Oh Happiest is in trouble here! Carter follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
