Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bagel Boss (ranked 1404 p4p, 187 weight class) and Dillion Danis (ranked 1883 p4p, 240 weight class). Dillion Danis has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Bagel Boss's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bagel Boss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Dillion Danis!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Boss.
Danis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Boss sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Danis somewhat.
As Danis backs away, Boss returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Danis shoots in but Boss avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Boss motions for Danis to come forward. Boss throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Danis shoots in for a takedown but Boss shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bagel Boss has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dillion Danis.
Danis shoots for a takedown but Boss saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Danis takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Danis tries to close the distance and clinch but Boss swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Danis checks a low kick from Boss.
Danis shoots in looking for a takedown but Boss manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Danis's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Danis throws a chopping leg kick but Boss manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Boss seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Danis throws a lazy uppercut
letting Boss counter with a right hand.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Danis lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Boss has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Boss and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Boss tried to counter with a leg kick but Danis avoided it.
Danis tries to land a leg kick but Boss saw it coming and moves away.
Danis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Boss half committed to a counter leg kick.
Danis tries to clinch but Boss moves out of range.
It looked like Boss wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Danis fails with a takedown attempt.
Danis wants to clinch up but Boss keeps it at a distance.
Danis checks the leg kick nicely there.

Danis swings for the body but Boss moves out of range.
A lazy left from Boss finds it's target.
Bagel Boss is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Danis checks a low kick from Boss.
Danis lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Dillion Danis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Danis throws a body punch but Boss moves out of range.
A head kick misses from Danis.
Boss was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Danis fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Danis tries to clinch up but Boss circles away and keeps his distance.

Danis shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Boss defends it nicely.

The fight stays on the outside here - Danis looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Danis fails to land the takedown.
As Danis looks to move away, Boss throws a big counter combo but Danis just gets out of the way.
Danis throws a right and a left that Boss avoids nicely.
Boss looks to land a left hand but Danis moved out of range nicely.
Danis darts in looking for a takedown but Boss gets double underhooks and turns Danis into the cage.
As Danis backs away, Boss returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Danis tries to clinch but Boss moves out of range.
Danis throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Boss counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Danis tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Boss manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Boss counters with an outside leg kick.
Boss swats away the attempt to clinch by Danis.
Boss is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

The fight stays on the outside here - Danis looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Danis fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Danis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Danis thuds a left hand into Boss's body.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Danis might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Boss has got the better of the exchanges.

Danis is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boss controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Danis is still in real trouble! Can Boss finish him?
Danis seems to have recovered his senses.
Danis wants to sweep but no luck.
Boss content to stall in guard here.
Boss continues to stall.
Our spies down at at London's Elite Grappler's PLUS ($950) inform us that Danis has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Boss sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Danis's guard.

Boss is pressing down on Danis's thigh, looking to free his foot. Danis is holding on for now.
Danis wants to get back to full guard.
Danis gets back to full guard.
Boss won't allow Danis to sweep him here.

Boss got a little sloppy there for a moment and Danis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Boss has managed to get both his arms back between Danis's legs - danger averted.
Boss slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Boss stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Danis swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Danis is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Boss is aware though and is defending well.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Boss controlling from the top position.

Danis had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Boss defends it easily.
Boss content to stall in guard here.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Boss trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Danis shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Danis showed some decent athleticism there.
Boss keeping hold of Danis's head, controlling as best he can.

Danis wants to work for an arm triangle but Boss is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Boss is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Boss keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

Boss has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Danis is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are battling for position here. Boss manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Danis is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Danis thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Boss pulls Danis in close to prevent any damage.
Boss is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Danis can do to turn this around?
Danis wants to control from the top but Boss keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Boss leaves Danis with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
As Danis backs away, Boss returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Danis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Boss as he jumps to the side.
Boss fires out a quick counter leg kick but Danis just manages to avoid it.
Boss misses with an uppercut.
Danis looks to clinch
and Boss counters with a head kick from the bowels of hell that crumples Danis! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Bagel Boss!
Dillion Danis was interviewed post fight and said 'You got lucky punk! A rematch is in order!'.
