Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Francis Begbie (ranked 3056 p4p, 369 weight class) and Jolly Rodger (ranked 5137 p4p, 515 weight class). Begbie comes to the cage accompanied by Raining Blood. The crowd seem to be enjoying Rodger's choice of entrance music: Reach for the stars by s club 7. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodger thuds his right hand into Begbie's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Rodger lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Begbie at a distance.
Rodger lands a nice hook to Begbie's body. Begbie takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Rodger lands with a nice body punch.
Begbie walks into a straight right hand from Rodger.
Begbie throws a big shot that misses.
Begbie with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rodger to score with a decent uppercut.

Rodger is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Begbie had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Oooooh!!! Begbie has knocked Rodger down with a huge combo! Begbie steps away and waves a wobbly Rodger back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Jolly Rodger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Begbie tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rodger manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A little jabbing left from Rodger on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Rodger connects with a body shot that sends Begbie's belly button to the back.

Begbie tries to bum rush Rodger with a series of wild strikes but Rodger uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

A punch lands to the side of Begbie 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Rodger swings and misses with a hook to the body.

It looked like Begbie wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Rodger scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Begbie tries to clinch up but Rodger circles away and keeps his distance.
Rodger misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Begbie lands a glancing blow to the side of Rodger's head.

Begbie lands a big uppercut and Rodger crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Rodger looks OK. Begbie waves Rodger back to his feet!

Rodger is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rodger ducks into an uppercut from Begbie and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!

Francis Begbie was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
The defeated Jolly Rodger had this to say: 'God is good... Anyway, good win... and most importantly... Epstein DID kill himself, twice!'.
