Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shoei Braz (ranked 1080 p4p, 21 weight class) and Ed ONeill (ranked 934 p4p, 19 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
35 - 25 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Shoei Braz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ed ONeill!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braz tries to move into range but ONeill moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Braz fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but ONeill avoids it really well and circles away.
Braz on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Braz takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Braz shoots in and drives through. ONeill sprawls well.
ONeill lands a jab.
It looks like Shoei Braz has been cut.
Braz shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in ONeill's guard.
ONeill pushes Braz off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Braz tries for a takedown but ONeill sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shoei Braz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Braz has a takedown stuffed.
Braz takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Good shot there by ONeill.
Braz looks for a takedown but ONeill sprawls well.

Braz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says ONeill as he avoids it easily.
ONeill lands with a shot to the body.
ONeill scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Braz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around ONeill's waist but ONeill gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Braz off to one side.
Braz shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with ONeill but ONeill pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Braz has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from ONeill finds it's way round the side to connect with Braz's head.
Braz shoots for a takedown but ONeill saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Braz misses with a takedown attempt
and ONeill counters with a straight right hand.
Shoei Braz's cut is getting worse.
Braz tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but ONeill defends well and Braz ends up having to push ONeill into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
ONeill lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Good exchange - ONeill coming out on top.
Braz is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Braz shoots in looking for a takedown. ONeill tries to sprawl out of it but Braz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. ONeill manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Braz tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but ONeill defends well and Braz ends up having to push ONeill into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
It seemed like ONeill was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
ONeill drops Braz with a big left hand and mounts him. Braz is in big trouble!
Oh Braz is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
ONeill is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Braz is surviving well by controlling ONeill's body position as best he can.
Braz might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
ONeill stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Braz seems to have got his legs back now.
Braz has a takedown stuffed.
A little jabbing left from ONeill on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
ONeill cracks Braz with an uppercut from hell and Braz crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of ONeill's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Shoei Braz's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
ONeill would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
ONeill is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Braz has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. ONeill is looking to defend but Braz has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for ONeill! Braz pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, ONeill taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Shoei Braz!
Shoei Braz opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
