Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between George Pitts (ranked 4766 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aziz Rubson (ranked 4400 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, George Pitts! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Aziz Rubson! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Michael Johnstone and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A left and a right from Rubson both land. Nice combination. Rubson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. A jab-cross combination lands for Rubson and sends Pitts crashing to the mat! Rubson follows him down to the mat - Pitts regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Pitts is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pitts tries to roll over but Rubson keeps him under control. Oh Pitts is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Rubson seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Pitts tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Rubson tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Pitts seems to have got his legs back now. Rubson escapes and gets back to his feet. Rubson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pitts. Pitts appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Rubson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Rubson wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Pitts manages to pass to side control. Pitts is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rubson sees it coming and defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pitts content to control rather than advance. Pitts stops Rubson from getting back to his feet.
Pitts is figuring out what he wants to do next. Pitts really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Pitts is working for a submission of some sort.
Pitts is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Rubson manages to escape and get back to his feet! Pitts showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rubson.
Rubson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pitts.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rubson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Aziz Rubson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Pitts shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rubson napping and manages to drive through into side control! Pitts lands a nice forearm strike. Rubson is trying to get back to his feet. Rubson is not content to let Pitts control the position. Pitts grinds an elbow into Rubson's temple. Rubson wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Pitts lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Pitts will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pitts scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Rubson to see if he's OK. Pitts looks up at the clock and then as Rubson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Pitts smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Rubson throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pitts is defended easily by Rubson. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aziz Rubson dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Rubson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Rubson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pitts looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Rubson lands a jab to Pitts's midsection. Rubson has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Rubson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
It looked like Pitts was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Pitts closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rubson circles away. Rubson throws out a leg kick but Pitts moves out of range and Rubson only half commits. Pitts shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rubson defends it nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rubson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Pitts's hands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rubson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Pitts fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for George Pitts. That's going to take a lot out of him. Good leg kick by Rubson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Rubson's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Rubson duly obliges. Rubson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Pitts on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Rubson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
As Rubson looks to move away, Pitts throws a big counter combo but Rubson just gets out of the way. Rubson dips down and scores with a jab to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. No joy there for Rubson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pitts went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Rubson is breathing heavily. Pitts tries to clinch up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rubson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Pitts fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Pitts takes one on the button. Pitts shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Pitts was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Rubson tries to escape but Pitts is in control. Pitts stands up and beckons Rubson to his feet. Rubson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rubson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Pitts gets a double leg takedown into Rubson's guard. Pitts is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Pitts wants to pass the guard but Rubson is keeping the position. Pitts trying to control but Rubson is working from the bottom. Rubson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pitts. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Pitts stands up over Rubson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pitts drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Rubson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Pitts has Rubson in his guard. Pitts not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pitts looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Rubson tries to stand but Pitts is controlling from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aziz Rubson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Pitts's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Rubson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Rubson lands a jab. Sloppy strikes from Rubson. Those never looked like landing. Pitts decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Pitts is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rubson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Pitts. Pitts is controlling the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pitts works his foot free and advances to mount. Pitts raining down hammerfists from mount. Pitts with the ground and pound from mount. Pitts is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Rubson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Pitts can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rubson is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rubson wants to try and get back to his feet. George Pitts overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Pitts in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
You get the feeling that Rubson really doesn't like being in this position too much.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pitts is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Rubson has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Pitts punishing his opponent with strikes. Pitts working away from the top, dropping strikes. Pitts quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Pitts but it's paid off an Rubson is forced to tap! Nice work by Pitts.
