Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Evgeni Rasputin (ranked 493 p4p, 8 weight class) and Fausto Carsara (ranked 858 p4p, 14 weight class). Carsara has chosen E'sord Luché as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Evgeni Rasputin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

21 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fausto Carsara!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rasputin slips a straight right by Carsara.
Carsara keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
It seemed like Carsara was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Rasputin throws a body punch but Carsara moves out of range.
Carsara tries to bum rush Rasputin with a series of wild strikes but Rasputin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rasputin throws a right hand that Carsara ducks under and follows up with a left that Carsara also avoids with ease.
Carsara misses the shot to the body.
Carsara lands with a hook. Rasputin tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Carsara steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rasputin.

and Carsara counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rasputin rushes Carsara and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

Carsara swings wildly with an uppercut but Rasputin uses good head movement to avoid it.

Carsara's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rasputin lands with a light punch inside.
Carsara looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Carsara prevents a body shot from Rasputin.

Carsara tries to circle away but Rasputin has him pinned against the ropes.

I was talking to Rasputin's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Rasputin lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Rasputin lands a shot to the body.
Rasputin scores with a shot to the side of Carsara's head.
Carsara looks winded!
Rasputin lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Still in the clinch, Rasputin scores with a nice short uppercut.

Carsara is trying to push Rasputin away but Rasputin has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.

Rasputin is leaning against Carsara and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Rasputin creates a bit of space and cracks Carsara with an uppercut that drops him to the canvas! Carsara is wobbled and seems to be struggling to get back to his feet. 3,4,5. He's up! Phew, his manager will be relieved but they're no doubt wondering whether he'll be able to recover properly and get back in the fight!
Carsara is rocked!
Evgeni Rasputin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rasputin catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Carsara stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Carsara walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!
Carsara is still on wobbly legs! Can Rasputin finish him?
Rasputin gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Rasputin digs a right hand underneath Carsara's ribcage. Carsara let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Rasputin can't find room to land a body shot as Carsara controls the action.
Carsara seems to have recovered his senses.

Carsara wants to get back to striking at distance but Rasputin won't allow it.

The referee has started the count straight away and we're up to 5 already. Carsara get to one knee - can he make it back to his feet? No, he's flopped back to the mat - he's out - this one is all over!
