Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Jones (ranked 4697 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brayden Green (ranked 4903 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Can't be touched. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones thuds his right hand into Green's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

It looks like Brayden Green has been cut.
Green walks into a jab.
Jones leaves Green with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Green shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jones as he jumps to the side.
Green takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Green tightens his grip and picks Jones up, before dumping him to the ground. Jones manages to land in guard.
Jones manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Green manages to get himself to full guard.

Green utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Jones slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Green lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Green sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Jones tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Green manages to circle out of the way.
Jones swats away the attempt to clinch by Green.
Jones feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Green's calf.

and Jones connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

That has opened up Brayden Green's cut even more.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Jones takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
