The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Suleimenov clinches up with Blackburn and pushes him back against the cage.

Blackburn is trying to trip Suleimenov. He has hold of a leg but Suleimenov is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Blackburn persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Suleimenov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Blackburn defends well.
Suleimenov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Suleimenov is looking for a triangle but Blackburn pushes his legs off easily.
Blackburn is in close to Suleimenov's body, working some short punches and elbows.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Blackburn keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Suleimenov's head.
Suleimenov has momentary wrist control but Blackburn slips an elbow through the middle.

Suleimenov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Blackburn looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Suleimenov can't hide his disappointment, as Blackburn celebrates the victory.
