Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edmond Honda (ranked 1066 p4p, 54 weight class) and Roar Horse (ranked 1315 p4p, 66 weight class). Honda comes to the cage accompanied by E. Honda Stage Theme Extended. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Edmond Honda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roar Horse!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horse lands with a kick to the ribs.
Honda shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Horse defends it nicely.
Honda misses with a body kick.
Honda fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Horse follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Honda has been working on his boxing with his coaches at WildBoar's Private Pig Pen in the buildup to the fight.

Honda fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Horse sprawls well initially but Honda persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Horse taking some punishment here, with Honda in his half guard.
Honda missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Horse wants to get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Honda not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Honda slips a nice elbow through Horse's hands, connecting with Horse's forehead.
Honda thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Horse kicks Honda off and gets back to his feet.
Horse takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Horse throws a low kick but it's checked well by Honda.
Edmond Honda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horse misses with a kick to the body.
Horse stuffs the takedown attempt from Honda. Honda gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Edmond Honda. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Honda throws a head kick but Horse moves out of range.
Honda delivers a nice body kick.
Horse blocks a head kick by Honda.
Honda fails with a takedown attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Honda tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Horse was well out of range. Poor timing from Honda.
Horse connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.


It looks like Edmond Honda has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Horse throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Honda fails with the takedown
and Horse counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Honda fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Horse swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Honda looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Honda throws a solid leg kick but Horse takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Honda.
A nice side step and Horse releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Horse scores with a nice body kick.
Horse displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Honda.
Horse let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Honda fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Honda misses with a kick to the body.
It seemed like Horse was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Horse checks the leg kick.
Horse appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Honda misses with a right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Roar Horse is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Honda pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Horse scores with a nice strike.
Horse throws a body shot but no joy.
Horse avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Horse paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Horse lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Honda out cold! Honda is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Roar Horse!
A victorious Roar Horse thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
Edmond Honda was interviewed post fight and said 'You must defeat Sheng Long to stand a chance!'.
