Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Grey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, I Just Fight And Win N!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Franklyn Lucas and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grey displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from And Win N.
And Win N shoots in for a takedown but Grey shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Grey jabbing away but nothing is landing.
And Win N closes this distance looking for a takedown but Grey circles away.
Jake Grey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of I Just Fight And Win N.
And Win N fails with a takedown attempt.
And Win N fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Grey definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sloppy strikes from Grey. Those never looked like landing.
And Win N shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Grey as he jumps to the side.
That's one minute gone in the round.
And Win N fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Grey lands a jab.
Grey stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Grey wants it to stay on the feet.
And Win N dives in for a single leg takedown but Grey sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
And Win N darts in looking for a takedown but Grey gets double underhooks and turns And Win N into the cage.
And Win N looks winded!
Grey pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces And Win N back to the cage. Grey follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Grey lands with a nice body punch.
Grey swinging wildly here.
Nice uppercut there from Grey.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Grey cracks And Win N with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! And Win N falls to his knees and Grey doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jake Grey!
