And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Dirk Anderson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kidd takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Kessler misses the shot to the body.
Kidd shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Kidd's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Kidd trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kessler's guard.
Kessler wants to sweep but no luck.
Kidd tries to free his leg and advance position but Kessler is retaining full guard.
Kessler working for a triangle but Kidd defends it easily.
Kessler working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kidd doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kidd manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Kessler looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Kessler might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Kidd gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Kessler scores with a jab to the body.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Kidd! Kessler is out on his feet! Kidd rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Kessler is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Kessler is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Blake Kidd!
As Blake Kidd got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Well since is my last match before my contract ends, i don't know what i do next, but i take so good memories from here. I wanna thank you all for this last moment on this octagon. Thank you all!'.
