Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rick Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee shoots in for a takedown but Anderson shows good takedown defense.
Anderson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lee is fending him off so far but Anderson persists. Nope, Lee circles away and we're back to standing.
Anderson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lee moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Lee drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Anderson is trying to improve his position.

Lee working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Lee avoids the strikes from the bottom by Anderson.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Anderson keeps working.
Anderson manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Lee gets caught napping as Anderson dives in and scores a takedown. Lee manages to retain guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Anderson pulls Lee in close to his closed guard and prevents Lee from doing any damage or advancing position.
Anderson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Lee got a little sloppy there for a moment and Anderson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lee has managed to get both his arms back between Anderson's legs - danger averted.

and Anderson counters with a left and a right that stings Lee.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Horrible takedown attempt by Anderson or perhaps it was just good defense by Lee, which made it look bad.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Anderson has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Lee is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Lee has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Anderson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Lee takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Lee connects with a solid leg kick.
William Lee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lee throws a nice looking combination but Anderson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Anderson dives in and grabs Lee's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lee pushes down on Anderson's head and hops out.
Anderson tries to bum rush Lee with a series of wild strikes but Lee uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Lee closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Anderson to the mat! Anderson manages to get full guard.

Anderson pushes Lee off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Anderson closes the distance and pushes Lee back into the cage.
Lee is trying to drag Anderson to the mat but Anderson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Anderson has hold of one of Lee's legs. Lee is fighting the takedown attempt but Anderson gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Anderson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Lee working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Anderson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Anderson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Lee wants to improve his position but Anderson is controlling well.

Lee on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lee tries to get out of the position.
Lee is trying to escape back to his feet but Anderson uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Anderson tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Lee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Anderson on the ground.
Anderson moves into full mount!
Anderson throws some wild stikes that Lee manages to avoid easily.
BOOM! Anderson connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Lee tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Anderson misses with a head shot.
Anderson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Lee is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Rick Anderson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Anderson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
