Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Pablo (ranked 7486 p4p, 0 weight class) and DeMarcus Ridley (ranked 22701 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Lucas Pablo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, DeMarcus Ridley! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pablo tries to clinch but Ridley is having none of it. Pablo shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Ridley is trying to get back to full guard. Pablo throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Ridley to regain full guard. Pablo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Pablo tries to free his leg and advance position but Ridley is retaining full guard. Pablo looking to sit in guard and control but Ridley gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ridley postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Pablo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ridley, into his guard. Ridley keeping full guard, as Pablo tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pablo wants to control from the top but Ridley keeps moving. Pablo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Pablo trying to control but Ridley is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pablo is really struggling to control Ridley but he's trying to hold on to the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Pablo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Ridley is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Pablo trying to control the position from guard on top but Ridley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pablo gets to his feet. Ridley looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Ridley tries to sprawl but Pablo drives through with a takedown into half guard. Pablo lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ground and pound from Pablo. Ridley wants to control but Pablo is keeping busy.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ridley can do anything to dispel that myth. Ridley is not content to let Pablo control the position. Ridley has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pablo is working away from the top position though. Ridley on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Ridley trying to hold on to Pablo's head to control him but Pablo postures up.
Pablo is looking for a kimura but Ridley is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pablo to get the leverage. Pablo trying to control the pace. Pablo stands up out of the half guard. No joy there for Ridley, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pablo scores with a takedown into Ridley's guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ridley looking to sweep here. No luck so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lucas Pablo dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Pablo is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ridley's half guard. Ridley is looking to control Pablo's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ridley avoid being mounted? Ridley is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Pablo is looking to take a break and control but Ridley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lucas Pablo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Pablo wants to take a breather but Ridley is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Pablo is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Ridley keeping control of the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Pablo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ridley on his heels. He'll look to pass Ridley's guard now, I'm sure. Pablo trying to control the position from guard on top but Ridley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pablo wants to stand but Ridley has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Pablo gets to his feet - Ridley follows without any prompting. Ridley throws a right and a left that both miss. Pablo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Pablo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Pablo creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Pablo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ridley keeps working. Pablo is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ridley is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ridley tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Pablo easily slips into full mount! Pablo works his way to his opponent's back.
You can see the frustration on Ridley's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Pablo is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Pablo is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ridley can do to turn this around?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pablo looking to break Ridley's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Ridley remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Pablo will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! A lull in the action here.
Pablo is trying to control but Ridley is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Pablo trying to control but Ridley is having none of it. Pablo misses with a head shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lucas Pablo dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Ridley throws a solid leg kick but Pablo takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Ridley. Pablo attempts a counter takedown but Ridley avoids it well and moves away. Pablo looking to score a takedown here. Ridley is defending well but Pablo drives through and ends up in Ridley's guard. Pablo throws a big elbow that misses. Pablo decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Pablo is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ridley's half guard. Ridley tries to roll over but Pablo keeps him under control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pablo thows a huge punch but Ridley dodges it nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round. Pablo throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Ridley is looking for a sweep. Pablo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Pablo is looking for a kimura here.
Pablo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Pablo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ridley does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Pablo wants to work for an arm triangle but Ridley is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Ridley is looking to improve his position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Pablo is looking to stall here but Ridley recovers full guard. Pablo throwing strikes but missing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ridley manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pablo manages to get himself to full guard.
Pablo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Pablo trying to control the position here. Pablo controls Ridley momentarily but Ridley frees himself. Ridley has gone for a leg lock! Pablo slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ridley's guard.

DeMarcus Ridley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ridley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pablo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Lucas Pablo is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Ridley can't keep his opponent in guard - Pablo advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Lucas Pablo showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Pablo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
