The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alrashed gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Linga to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Alrashed wants to sweep here but Linga controlling him for the moment.

Linga is looking to pass into half guard but Alrashed pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Alrashed is in guard.

Alrashed controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Alrashed is looking to work some ground and pound but Linga has wrist control.
Linga is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Linga thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Alrashed's head.

Alrashed tries to roll over but Linga keeps him under control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alrashed tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Alrashed decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Alrashed lands a nice short elbow.
Alrashed controlling the pace.

Alrashed scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Linga is rocked!

Linga is not content to let Alrashed control the position.
Oh Linga is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Linga is looking to control Alrashed's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Linga avoid being mounted?
Alrashed lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Linga has hold of Alrashed's hands but Alrashed slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Alrashed lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Linga quite badly. Linga pulls Alrashed in close trying to recover. Alrashed postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Linga on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Linga doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
