Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bruce White Jr (ranked 1308 p4p, 156 weight class) and Jewel Diaz (ranked 1682 p4p, 185 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Diaz's choice of entrance music: Fuego (La Romana). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz scoring well with a low kick there.
Some bone on bone action there as White Jr checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
White Jr blocks a leg kick.
White Jr throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Diaz misses with a low kick.
An attempted straight right counter from White Jr misses the target.
Diaz takes one on the button.
White Jr misses the shot to the body.
White Jr tries to clinch but Diaz moves out of range.

Diaz steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Jewel Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diaz looks to land a body kick but White Jr moved away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

White Jr tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Diaz was well out of range. Poor timing from White Jr.

White Jr throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Diaz on the side of the head.

A jab from White Jr does it's job there.
Diaz misses with a hook. White Jr ducked under it nicely.
White Jr is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Diaz.

Diaz closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
White Jr tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Diaz is looking to finish with some ground and pound!

Diaz lands shots to the head and White Jr turtles up! The ref has seen enough and stops the fight! This one is over!
