Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fjogren Morninglord (ranked 7330 p4p, 540 weight class) and Jack Pool (ranked 4386 p4p, 443 weight class). The key to victory for Fjogren Morninglord has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fjogren Morninglord!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Pool!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Steve Montenegro and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morninglord throws a body shot but no joy.
Morninglord throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Morninglord takes a swing at Pool's ribcage but misses.
Pool lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Pool shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Morninglord manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Morninglord escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pool gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Pool throws a big elbow that misses.
Pool looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Pool is in close to Morninglord's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Morninglord working for a triangle but Pool defends it easily.
Pool sitting in guard, not really doing much.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Morninglord is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Pool with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Pool is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Morninglord escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pool gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Pool not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Morninglord has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pool can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Morninglord wants to control the position but Pool says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Pool takes a little break here. Morninglord wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Morninglord throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pool.
Morninglord shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Pool eats them both and turns towards Morninglord to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Pool throws a right hand that Morninglord ducks under and follows up with a left that Morninglord also avoids with ease.

Pool manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Morninglord on his heels. He'll look to pass Morninglord's guard now, I'm sure.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee asks Pool politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Pool prefers to stall for the moment though.
