The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Jonathan Paton and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Anderson wants it to stay on the feet.
Galvao changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Anderson tries to avoid it but Galvao manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Anderson to the ground. Anderson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Galvao fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Anderson to the ground. Galvao is now in Anderson's guard.
Galvao is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Anderson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Anderson has escaped and now he's on top!
Galvao wants to sweep here but Anderson controlling him for the moment.

Galvao is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Anderson frees his head nicely. Oh but Galvao has switched to an armbar! Anderson is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
