And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Animal Baldwin!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Baldwin as Foster shoots in.
Foster just misses with a punch to the body.

Foster fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Baldwin to the ground. Foster is now in Baldwin's guard.
Foster trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Baldwin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Foster is one step ahead there.
Baldwin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Foster throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Baldwin works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Foster engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Foster looking to sit in guard and control but Baldwin gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Foster has Baldwin pulled in close to control his posture.
Baldwin controls from within his opponent's guard.
Baldwin preventing the sweep.
Foster really is a fat lump.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Foster is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Baldwin won't allow Foster to sweep him here.
Foster is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Baldwin is controlling him.
Baldwin content to stall in guard here.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Foster.
Baldwin doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Foster keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Foster scores with a takedown into Baldwin's guard.
Foster missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Foster is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Baldwin is on top in guard.

My spies in Cozad MMA London inform me that Baldwin has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Foster has Baldwin pulled in close to control his posture.

Foster has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Baldwin has passed into side control.
Foster sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Baldwin is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Foster wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Animal Baldwin will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Foster bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Baldwin sneaks out the side door and pushes Foster away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Foster closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Baldwin's guard.

Baldwin wriggles free and stands up.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A head kick misses from Foster.
Foster tries for a takedown but Baldwin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Foster shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Baldwin pinned against the cage. Baldwin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
As Foster backs off Baldwin throws a huge counter combo but Foster manages to avoid it all.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Baldwin - that will leave a mark!
A punch combination from Foster misses.
Baldwin has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Baldwin gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Foster to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Baldwin wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Foster manages to pass to side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Foster lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Foster trying to mount his opponent but Baldwin defends it.
Baldwin is trying to get back to full guard.
Foster tries to stand and escape but Baldwin actually recovers to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Foster wants to control from the top but Baldwin keeps moving.
Foster stays in close to Baldwin's body and controls the position.

Foster lying in Baldwin's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Baldwin decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Foster taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
