Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Gary Saxton (ranked 23755 p4p, 516 weight class) and Harumichi Bouya (ranked 22926 p4p, 508 weight class). Bouya comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Victory kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bouya looks to land a combination but Saxton avoids it well.
Saxton is looking to counter with head kicks.
Saxton fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Bouya checks it well.
Saxton dodges the punch combination from Bouya.
Saxton throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bouya connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A telegraphed right hand from Saxton misses the target.
Bouya lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Saxton misses with a combination
and Bouya counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A swing and a miss from Saxton.
Bouya walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Bouya slips a straight right by Saxton.
Saxton throws a solid leg kick but Bouya takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Saxton.
Saxton looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Saxton misses with a series of wild punches.
As Saxton backs off Bouya throws a huge counter combo but Saxton manages to avoid it all.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Saxton throws a hook to the side of Bouya's head but Bouya sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Saxton throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bouya.
Bouya tries to bum rush Saxton with a series of wild strikes but Saxton uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bouya takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Saxton swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bouya counters with a nice uppercut.
Bouya avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Gary Saxton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bouya moves out of range as Saxton strikes.
Saxton misses with a lunging right hand
and Bouya counters with a left and a right that stings Saxton.
Saxton is rocked!
Saxton uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bouya has time to react.
Saxton misses with a looping right.
Bouya unleashes a big counter combination but Saxton bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Saxton connects with the punch.
Saxton throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Saxton throws a right hand that misses
and Bouya counters with a straight right hand.
Oh Saxton is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bouya plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Saxton to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Saxton just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Harumichi Bouya!
Harumichi Bouya decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
