Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Verekedos Istvan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alex Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Chad Campbell and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots for a takedown but Istvan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Gracie fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Istvan avoids it really well and circles away.
Istvan connects with the punch.
We've been told by Istvan's head coaches at Montreal Community Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Istvan fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Istvan throws a nice looking combination but Gracie bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Gracie dives in for a single leg takedown but Istvan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Verekedos Istvan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Gracie.
Gracie shoots for a double leg takedown but Istvan sprawls well. He's pushed Gracie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
As Gracie looks to move away, Istvan throws a big counter combo but Gracie just gets out of the way.
Gracie shoots in but Istvan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Gracie looks winded!
Istvan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie jumps guard and drags Istvan to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Istvan wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Istvan slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Istvan wants to stand and escape but instead Gracie has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gracie forces his way into half guard.
Istvan tries to get to full guard but Gracie has control of the leg.
Istvan trying to control but Gracie postures up.
Istvan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Istvan is defending against the submission attempts here by Gracie.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Gracie wants to work for an arm triangle but Istvan is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Istvan wants to get back to his feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Gracie is looking for a kimura here.
Istvan is trying to stand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Alex Gracie will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action!
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Istvan sprawls well. Istvan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet.
Gracie looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Gracie dives in and grabs Istvan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Istvan pushes down on Gracie's head and hops out.
Verekedos Istvan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Gracie.
Istvan moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Istvan pushes Gracie up against the cage in a clinch.
Gracie tries to pull guard but Istvan forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Gracie jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Istvan walks away with a smile on his face. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Gracie dives in for a single leg takedown but Istvan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Gracie is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Istvan moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Verekedos Istvan!
