Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Ze Jiurgite (ranked 24496 p4p, 101 weight class) and Donny Raggazza (ranked 6156 p4p, 86 weight class). Jiurgite comes to the ring accompanied by Bezerra - O Malandro Era Forte. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 0 losses; Ze Jiurgite! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 2 losses; Donny Raggazza!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Raggazza shoots and misses

and Jiurgite counters by clinching up.

Raggazza jumps guard and drags Jiurgite to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Jiurgite wants to control from the top but Raggazza keeps moving.

Raggazza looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Jiurgite puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Raggazza is refusing to be controlled, as Jiurgite sits in half guard.

Raggazza is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jiurgite pulls his head out easily.

Raggazza is trying desperately to improve position.

Jiurgite trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Jiurgite is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Raggazza is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Raggazza tries to improve his position but instead Jiurgite has taken his back!

Jiurgite tries to keep control of the position but Raggazza is staying busy.
Raggazza looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
You can see the frustration on Raggazza's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Jiurgite is trying to control but Raggazza is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.
Jiurgite tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Raggazza tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Raggazza is trying desperately to improve position.
Raggazza tries to improve his position but instead Jiurgite has taken his back!

Jiurgite has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Raggazza's body.
Raggazza wants to control his opponent's hands but Jiurgite gets his hands free.

Raggazza manages to reverse the position and now he's in Jiurgite's guard. Nice work there by Raggazza.

Jiurgite pulls Raggazza in close to prevent any damage.

Jiurgite manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Raggazza manages to get himself to full guard.

Raggazza controls Jiurgite momentarily but Jiurgite frees himself.

Raggazza has his foot on Jiurgite's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jiurgite works his way back into a safe position though.
Jiurgite wants to pass the guard but Raggazza is keeping the position.
Raggazza wants to sweep but no luck.
Jiurgite will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Raggazza looking for subs off his back but Jiurgite has passed one foot through into half guard.

Jiurgite passes to side control.

Raggazza tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Jiurgite presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Jiurgite wants to take Raggazza's back here but Raggazza is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Raggazza tries to hold on but Jiurgite pushes him away.

Jiurgite is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Raggazza to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Raggazza shrugs it off.
Raggazza is looking to get to half guard.

Jiurgite fails to move to back control.
Jiurgite trying to control but Raggazza is having none of it.
Raggazza is in all sorts of trouble here.
Jiurgite fails to advance to Raggazza's back.

Raggazza is trying desperately to improve position.

Jiurgite quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Jiurgite but it's paid off an Raggazza is forced to tap! Nice work by Jiurgite.
