Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Khalid Mamedov (ranked 1811 p4p, 232 weight class) and Paul Hunt (ranked 569 p4p, 74 weight class). Mamedov's entrance music is Shamhan Daldaev - Eto Kavkaz. A fine choice. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Hunt closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Hunt goes for a takedown attempt but Mamedov pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Mamedov is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Mamedov works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Hunt trying to control the position from guard on top but Mamedov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mamedov looking for a guillotine here but Hunt defends easily.
