Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hamlet Loveridge (ranked 6454 p4p, 432 weight class) and Jackson Risk (ranked 2087 p4p, 213 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Hamlet Loveridge has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Hamlet Loveridge seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Bart Greer and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loveridge takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Loveridge dodges the punch combination from Risk.
Loveridge misses with a few strikes there.
Risk throws a lazy uppercut
and Risk takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Risk uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Loveridge.
Risk misses with a hook
and Loveridge counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Loveridge showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Risk.
Loveridge half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Loveridge misses with a right hand
and Risk cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Risk fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Risk swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Loveridge decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Risk's guard.

Risk has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Island Hammers Fight Camp. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Risk has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Loveridge should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Risk has tightened it up now! Loveridge should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
