Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Caloggero Turturro (ranked 1514 p4p, 186 weight class) and George Maxwell (ranked 2172 p4p, 261 weight class). George Maxwell will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turturro displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Maxwell throws out the jab.
Turturro closes the distance but Maxwell moves to the side
and Turturro takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Turturro misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Maxwell.
Maxwell has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Turturro dips a shoulder and cracks Maxwell with a mighty uppercut! Maxwell falls back against the cage and Turturro unloads with a barrage of strikes! Maxwell is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Turturro screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
