Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dro Qanar (ranked 2498 p4p, 313 weight class) and Logan Nail (ranked 2881 p4p, 344 weight class). Logan Nail is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dro Qanar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Logan Nail! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Qanar takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. A slow jab from Nail misses its intended target. Qanar misses with a hook
and Nail counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Qanar blocks an uppercut.

It looks like Dro Qanar has been cut. Nail tries a knee to the head but Qanar blocks it.

Qanar prevents a body shot from Nail. Nail putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Qanar in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Qanar misses with a punch on the inside.

Nail sitting in guard here, content to control. Qanar throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Nail escapes and throws Qanar's legs to the side, diving into side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Qanar is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Qanar wants to control but Nail is keeping busy and won't allow it. Qanar looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Nail keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Nail works his way into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Qanar is trying to improve his position. My spies in Smitty's inform me that Nail has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! You can see the frustration on Qanar's face as Nail controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Qanar is trying to work for a sweep but Nail has mounted him! Qanar bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Qanar trying to control but Nail is working from the bottom. Nail is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Qanar postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Nail is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Qanar, into his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Qanar has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nail can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Qanar working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Nail has passed into half guard!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Qanar actively working from the bottom here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Logan Nail dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dro Qanar's cut. That's time! Qanar's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Qanar misses with a left hand and Nail counters with a nice body shot. Nail drops his hands momentarily and Qanar takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Qanar gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Nail lands a knee to the head.

Qanar tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Nail working some nice short punches in the clinch. Nail blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Logan Nail seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Nail tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nail with a knee to the head.
Qanar has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Nail uses from the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Qanar can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Nail controls the pace. Qanar throws his legs up looking for a submission but Nail uses it to pass to side control.
Nail moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Qanar manages to work his way to half guard, despite Nail's best efforts. Nail passes into side control, despite Qanar's attempt to control the position.
Qanar regains half guard. Qanar is trying to get back to full guard. Qanar is looking to get back to full guard here but Nail has managed to pass to side control instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nail controls the position. Nail has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Nail tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Logan Nail has got the better of the ground game so far. Qanar looking for a sweep but Nail has passed into full mount! Oh no! Qanar keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Nail gets his hands free as Qanar looks to control. Qanar breaks Nail's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Qanar passes easily into side control. Nice work. Qanar looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Nail can't do much from the bottom here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Logan Nail showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Dro Qanar's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Nail thows a left - swing and a miss! Qanar swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Qanar walks into a jab. Nail fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Qanar looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Qanar takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Nail clinches up with Qanar and pushes him back against the cage. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Nail takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Nail blocks a punch to the side of the head.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nail looking to throw knees to the head but Qanar is blocking nicely.
Nail lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Qanar backwards. Qanar works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

That's one minute gone in the round. Qanar throws a punch but it's blocked by Nail. Qanar misses with a punch on the inside.
Qanar tries to throw a body punch but Nail avoids it by throwing Qanar back against the cage. Qanar lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Qanar lands a body shot. Nail tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Qanar tries to work over Nail's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Qanar takes a knee right on the jaw!
A head punch on the inside from Qanar fails to land. Nail looking to slow down the pace here. Nail's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Nail lands a good knee to the midsection. Qanar won't want to take too many of those. Qanar jumps into guard, dragging Nail to the mat.

Nail manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Qanar has an active guard here but Nail has managed to pass into half guard.
Dro Qanar has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nail moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Qanar. Qanar tries to control but Nail manages to take his back. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Qanar trying to control the hands but Nail won't let him. Qanar is trying to break free.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nail biding his time, controlling Qanar. Nail is trying to stick to Qanar's back but Qanar is turning into Nail. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Nail's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Qanar. Qanar has gone for a leg lock! Nail slips out almost immediately though and dives into Qanar's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Qanar is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Nail jumps into side control! Qanar wants to control but Nail postures up. Qanar gets back to half guard. Nail prevents Qanar from improving his position. Nail blocks the strikes from Qanar.

And that's the end of the fight! Logan Nail comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Nail has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
