And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Gorgon Patriot!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Hassildor misses.
Hassildor blocks a head kick by Patriot.
A nice inside leg kick there by Patriot. That's going to slow Hassildor down.
Hassildor looks to throw the jab but Patriot is out of range.
Patriot clobbers Hassildor with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Patriot breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Patriot throws out a counter right but Hassildor avoids it with no problem.

Hassildor feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Patriots jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Patriot.
Hassildor wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Patriot takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Patriot is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Hassildor had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Hassildor is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Patriot.
Hassildor's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Patriot connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hassildor scrambles back to his feet.
