Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lev Davidovitch Bronstein (ranked 1393 p4p, 61 weight class) and Marcus Pickett (ranked 2094 p4p, 93 weight class). Pickett comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Queen - Hammer To Fall kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bronstein fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pickett sprawls well initially but Bronstein persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Bronstein is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Bronstein works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Bronstein tries to score with some ground and pound. Pickett controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
We've been hearing that Bronstein has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Pickett really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bronstein. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bronstein is staying tight to Pickett's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Bronstein has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
A big shot lands for Bronstein! That's hurt Pickett! Will he recover? Bronstein fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
