Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between CM Punk (ranked 5300 p4p, 472 weight class) and Conor Butcher (ranked 4128 p4p, 404 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Conor Butcher enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Franklyn Lucas and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butcher has closed the distance and engaged Punk in a clinch.
Butcher tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Punk's elbow.
Punk wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Punk wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Butcher has him pressed against the cage.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Butcher has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Butcher has Punk pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Butcher pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Punk tumbling to the mat - Butcher dives into Punk's guard.
