The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ion shoots in but Tanner avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Tanner changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Tanner keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Tanner feinted with a counter takedown.
Ion fails to land the takedown.
Rob Tanner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Min Ion.
Ion shoots in but Tanner avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Tanner cracks Ion with an open hand slap.
Ion fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The crowd cheers as Tanner lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ion doesn't seem phased though.
Tanner definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
