Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Petrov (ranked 24754 p4p, 274 weight class) and Jon Bog (ranked 6312 p4p, 248 weight class). Petrov's entrance music is They want too see me fall. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jon Bog! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Petrov takes the fight into the clinch. Bog gets underhooks to prevent Petrov's takedown attempt.
Bog misses with a knee to the head. Petrov is struggling to control the position. Petrov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bog creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Petrov is trying to pull guard but Bog has him pressed against the cage. Petrov has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bog after a bit of a struggle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Viktor Petrov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Petrov tries for a takedown but Bog manages to get underhooks.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. A momentary lapse in concentration from Bog enables Petrov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bog manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Petrov's corner is telling him to maintain position. Petrov gets to his feet. Bog looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Petrov shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Petrov showed some decent athleticism there. Petrov is controlling the pace.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, Petrov seems content to control. Petrov thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Bog scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Petrov manages to mount him!

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bog is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Petrov scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Bog is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Petrov has just dragged him back down to the mat. You can see the frustration on Bog's face as Petrov controls the position. Bog wants to get back to his feet but Petrov drags him back down. Petrov decides to stand up, so the ref orders Bog to his feet. Petrov gets a takedown into half guard. Petrov prevents Bog from standing back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Petrov stands up out of the half guard. Petrov shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Petrov showed some decent athleticism there. Petrov lands strikes from half guard. Bog scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Petrov manages to mount him!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Petrov is landing with some decent strikes but Bog is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Bog is breathing heavily. Petrov controlling the pace for now. Petrov putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Bog is rocked! Petrov sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Petrov's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Petrov lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Petrov. Petrov tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Petrov punishing his opponent with strikes. Bog is still in real trouble! Can Petrov finish him? Petrov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Petrov is trying to take his opponent's back.
Viktor Petrov overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Petrov has control of Bog's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bog regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Petrov postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Bog badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Petrov around the waist but Petrov pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Petrov is the winner by TKO! Petrov jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Viktor Petrov! A very excited looking Viktor Petrov made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
